Join Us for our 20th Anniversary Recitals and Summer Musical, plus Opportunities to Get Involved

Spring Greetings to all Students, Parents, Faculty and Friends of Academy of Sound,

We are excited to announce that our 20th Anniversary Recitals are fast approaching on

May 21 at 1:00 and 3:00 PM. It is a special occasion that we look forward to with great anticipation. We will celebrate two decades of hard work, dedication, and talent. It will be an amazing opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and what they have learned throughout the years.

In addition, we are excited to announce that our faculty members will be performing together for the first time in almost a decade. It will be a special moment to witness our experienced instructors showcase their skills and talents. We hope it will serve as an inspiration for our students to continue learning and growing in their respective disciplines.

We are still looking for a professional photographer to capture this memorable event. If you have any recommendations, we would appreciate it if you could send them via email to Erin to ensure that we have a skilled professional behind the camera.

We are also seeking a volunteer to coordinate the reception that will be held between and after the recitals. This is a relatively easy task that won't take up much of your time, and as a thank you, we will include your name in the program and publicly acknowledge your contribution! If you are interested in volunteering or know someone who might be interested, please let us know as soon as possible. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Moving forward, we have an exciting summer musical to look forward to as well. Cinderella, open to anyone ages 6-11, will be held on June 24. Rehearsals will begin on June 12, and we encourage everyone to participate and be a part of this magical experience.

Finally, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Brian Barta has joined our faculty as a guitar, ukulele, and bass teacher. Mr. Brian started his work with us in December. His extensive experience and expertise in the field will undoubtedly provide our students with excellent instruction and guidance. You can read more about him on our Faculty page.

We also wanted to remind everyone that Summer Enrollment is just around the corner. Current families may begin registering on April 17 at 5:00 PM, while new and returning families may register starting April 20 at 5:00 PM. All openings are first-come first-served, so we encourage you to enroll as early as possible for the best selection of classes. The summer session will run from June 20 through August 25. Don't miss out on the opportunity to continue learning and growing with us over the summer!
